The chosen features list:
- Quick export and Advanced prepress. With that tools you can quickly prepare lots of optimized for preview and e-mail attachment JPEG files from your multipaged project. But when your work is done, then you should consider of use advanced prepress optimization tools before exporting final PDF. Advanced prepress optimization will automatically merge all bitmaps and objects with nested effects to single press optimized bitmap (eg 300dpi CMYK). The text and all simple vectors will stay unchanged above flattened background. You can set flags on some objects that you want force to being or not to being flatten with the bitmap background. You can also specify to find and convert to curves all the document text.
- One click swapping of many objects based on chosen selection or page range (with providing the names of the objects to swap) as alternative of using symbols (which have multiple limitations).
- You can fast and automatically copy and paste the chosen properties (eg. width, positionY, fill, effects...) from some objects to the others. You may do that in a chosen selection or page range (with providing the names of the objects destined to change theirs properties).
- Tools for automatically finding and optionally grouping objects of the specified type (eg. text, bitmaps, vectors, outlines, objects with nested effects...). You can additionally set filtering options - both for name of the objects as well as the range of searching. In conclusion: you can quickly organize content of your project like never before.
- Advanced importing functions. You can quickly and easily import objects from files or clipboard to the specific shapes or containers. That is done with automatic assignment of properties and effects of the target shapes.
- Tools for resolving and restoring links of bitmaps at any time. You can also check for updates and swap bitmaps even if they are embedded (not linked) in document. It is noteworthy that, you can't make bitmap externally linked again if you resolve it with use of native CorelDRAW® interface.
- Advanced bitmap & links manager. With that tool you can quickly explore a list of broken or needed to update links (including those are embedded in document). You can also resolve or restore links in the specified page range.
- Fixing of all broken links by specifying a new prefix. Because all bitmaps links in CorelDRAW® are absolute, you will notice a damage of all links, if you open your project on another computer, or move source bitmaps folder elsewhere. With Krasbit Layouter you can specify a new prefix for images folder to fix them all automatically!
- Working with text. Within that category you will find tools to do automatic line breaking before specified chars or to clean your text from white spaces, tabs or other unwanted specified special chars (eg CR, LF etc). There are also tools for both side conversion between artistic and paragraph text for selected range of texts.
- With Smart Group & Ungroup functions you can temporarily group objects from different layers to the one group, make some alignment or stretching on whole group and then Smart Ungroup objects to theirs original layers (were they had been before they were grouped together) as opposite to the standard ungroup.
- With Smart Copy & Paste functions you can copy and paste objects between pages or even documents. That is done with retaining of information related to the original layer and z-order position of being copied object. After the objects will be pasted, then thier z-order information will be restored. If a layer from which object was copied doesn't exist in the target document, then it is created.
- Working with pages and templates. With that category tools, you can easily add pages from templates (based on specified filepath) with retaining of original template layers. If that specific layers doesn't exist in the target document, then they will be automatically created.
